The location was perfect for us adventure-loving teens. We went cycling and hiking in the stunning outdoor surroundings. There were so many trails to explore and we even tried horse riding for the first time. It was an action-packed vacation that we'll never forget!
The only thing that could have made our stay even better would be if the hotel had organized some fun activities for young people like us. It would have been awesome to have a party or a game night to hang out and meet other teenagers.

I recently stayed at Casa Grande in Ribeira Sacra for ten days and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the views from the hotel were breathtaking, especially watching the sun set over the river. The coffee/bar service was a great touch, and parking was a breeze. The highlight was definitely the dinner, the meat was absolutely amazing. a great experience.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The house is beautiful, and in a magnificent location overlooking the canyon of the River Sil. The bedrooms are lovely, and the beds extremely comfortable. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, and gives great advice on local wines!
Slightly difficult to find, but don´t let that put you off!

Delightful hotel in beautiful surroundings situated in isolation. Rooms furnished beautifully with glorious views. Excellent personal service and food.
A bit pricey for lunch. We shared a mixed salad and 2 beers each - cost 26 euros !

The value for money was excellent, and the room was comfortable with a cozy bed. The location was incredible, with breathtaking views of the river valley. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Breakfast delights, but could use more variety.

Excellent rural B&B in a very scenic valley. We had an amazing large room with very high ceilings. The furniture was very new, clean, and comfortable. Great home-cooked meals.

Charming small hotel on a fantastic location. Cosy rooms, exquisite homely food, fine local wines. Owners welcoming you as a friend. The perfect place for knowing the Ribeira Sacra.

The rooms at Casa Grande De Cristosende are incredibly spacious, giving you plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of trekking. As trekking enthusiasts, we absolutely loved the extra space to stretch out and organize our gear.
Personally, I found the rustic-style of the rooms at Casa Grande De Cristosende to be a bit outdated. However, I understand that others may appreciate the charm and character that the rustic decor brings.

Casa Grade de Cristosende is a perfect place to get away from everything. We loved everything, the relaxed environment, the house itself and the rooms are really beautiful (well recoverd, clean and confortable) the staff was really nice and special, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We didn't book dinner and arrived at 23:00, still the staff asked if we wanted to have dinner and arranged for everything. The breakfeast was also great (from natural fresh orange juice,to a nice tosted bread, with cake on the side) . If we would go back? Definitly! Nice little place to get away from everything. And the helpfull and friendly staff makes a real difference. Note that after staying there one night we spent a night on a 4 stars hotel, and we both enjoyed Casa Grande de Cristosende much better and regret not staying there instead.

Nice clean room
Our experience was terrible. Got woken at 2230 by guests arriving in next room.. The wall between rooms have no soundproofing.. Kept awake by tv and guests talking and walking over creaky floorboards till 0030. To get dinner, already pre booked my wife spent 20 mins on the phone to the owner and got one choice of meal. Breakfast came with flies in the honey. Refused to pay full price and got discount.. My advice avoid. On this holiday this was the worst experience ever.

Absolutely stunning location with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The hotel itself is a charming and rustic old Spanish house that oozes charm and character. The superior room we stayed in was well worth the extra money, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the Sil Canyon. The restaurant at the hotel served delicious food and the wine selection was excellent, providing a true taste of the region.
The village where the hotel is located is quite remote, with narrow and winding roads making it difficult to get around. There are no restaurants in the village itself, so it's important to plan meals in advance or be prepared to drive at least 20 minutes to find other dining options.

Casa Grande is brilliant. We got lost in the mountains on the way there, and they called us to ask what we wanted for dinner...........excellent service. The food was all lovely.......fresh, local ingredients and simply cooked......delicious. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Slight problem finding it, but well worth it when you arrive. It is also a beautiful building, lovingly and beautifully restored. We definitely recommend it!

The house was special, the room nice, the staff friendly.
Very secluded position at the top of a mountain in small village and, unfortunately, the wifi was not working.
